YAOI NEWS: Youka Nitta

ANN published this news story about Youka Nitta launching her "news" series Otodama and they also state she has "resumed her career".  What I find most interesting is that Otodama is said to be just launching in Japan and we're getting the English version published here February 24, 2010? It seems this isn't a new title based on what I can see. What am I missing here? Something about all of this doesn't seem right to me. *confused*

EDIT: I shot off an email to Anime News Network about this being a continuation of an ongoing story and not a new story and they have added a correction to the bottom of their post.

Article about Bishie Con raises some eyebrows

The Riverfront Times wrote an article about Bishie Con and interviewed a few of the authors and other parties that attended. You can read the article here. I guess it’s good yaoi get’s some mainstream attention but at the same time I have to question how it was represented. I found the comments to be very interesting with some good debate in there and only one “GOD WILL SMITE THEE!” commenter so far. What do you think?
