YAOI ANIME: Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi Premiering 4/8/11

Shungiku Nakamura of Junjo Romantica fame has another manga titled Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, which has recently been adapted into an anime. The first episode is set to premier April 8th in Japan. Here's the publisher's description of the series:

From the creator of Junjo Romantica comes a hilarious and heartbreaking look at the world's greatest first love – yaoi style! When Onodera Ritsu accepts a job at the publishing company Marukawa Shoten, he gets assigned to the editing department that handles shojo manga; but for the heartbroken Ritsu, who vowed to never fall in love again, working on love stories is impossible. Panic ensues when he realizes that the arrogant and tyrannical editorial director turns out to be his former first love!

Per ANN, the staff is the same as Junjo Romantica and the voice cast is the original cast from the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi drama CD's:

The English translation of volume one of the manga is releasing 7/5/11 and volume 2 is releasing 10/4/11. The manga is licensed by TOKYOPOP and is being published by their boys' love imprint, BLU Manga.

Are you sure it wasn’t the OVA you saw? That’s the only thing that’s been released so far, which was just recently. There are 12 episodes of the first season and episode one doesn’t air until 4/8/11 in Japan.

This episode was ADORABLE! If you’ve seen Junjou Romantica, it’s very very similar, but that’s not a bad thing! It’s simply overwhelming with cute bunnies, cute ukes and sexy semes! I already can’t wait for the next episode!

I love this anime, I can’t wait for the upcoming episodes! I love Yaoi anime, it’s much better than Yuri! If anyone wants a piece of this I know some good fan sites for Yaoi Anime
