ANN reported yesterday that there is now a second promo for the new Togainu no Chi boys' love game anime as well as a commercial (links provided in their original post). They also reported that the anime itself will begin airing in October! Here is a post I did previously that has a really hot AMV about the boys' love game if you want to take a look.

It looks like Ai no Kotodama by Keiko Konno will be getting a second live-action remake. Ai no Kotodama, also known as Words of Devotion was published by June in 2007 and was two volumes. This new live action will be called Ai no Kotodama: Sekai no Hate Made or Words of Devotion: To the End of the World and will focus on two new characters. The director will be Satoshi Kanedo, who is also directing a live-action remake of Hyouta Fijuyama's Pure Heart, also known as Junjo. So much live-action boys' love, so little time!

I was recently reading through some of the comments over at AarinFantasy in the news posting for the Ai no Kusabi remake and things are looking pretty grim. Per some of the comments, it appears the project ran into financial difficulties, there was a dissolution of the production team in April and the staff blog hasn't been updated since 4-12-10. Also, the running text at the top of the page was updated to remove "Spring 2010" as well as "13 OVA's". If anyone has any other news or can go to the Ai no Kusabi site or any other site to confirm this information, I'd appreciate it. Feel free to note anything you find in comments below. If I hear anything different, I'll keep you posted.

Warning: Shounen Maid Kuro-kun is a SHOTA comic animation.
Summary:
Popular crossdressing tsundere shota maid and frequently abused slave Kuro-kun, star of several ero-manga. It is being made by 37C, the studio responsible for Pico. The manga original itself is by ??? / Masaki Hiiragi, and chronicles the unfortunate life of Kuro-kun as he is sold into servitude to pay his father’s debts and subsequently forced to become the household maid at his new master’s mansion, with predictable results considering the genre. (By Sankaku Complex)While the artwork is pretty good with some good voice actors, I must say I am disturbed by it… because of the message it's sending to viewers, not to mention some screaming parts from Kuro-kun too. To me, it is sending negative message saying it is fine to be forced upon as long as you can get closer to the person. But I do understand that some people like this genre. So, I encourage viewers to accept this animated piece purely as artistic expression or for entertainment only.
Obviously, I am not interested in it (being shota) and had a hard time finding a translator for it. But I managed to find someone who can and make it happen for the sake of forumers who really wants to understand it. I am sorry, but there will be no torrent release for this.

Sex Pistols OVA2 release date postponed

It has been announced that Sex Pistols OVA2 due for 25th Jun 2010 release will be postponed till 10th Dec 2010, the official site stated: "In order to offer you better a quality product, we have to postpone the release date."
Guess we have to wait much longer… maybe there are other reasons but of course, quality is more important in my opinion

More boys' love anime!!! ANN announced that Togainu no Chi will be getting its own television anime adaptation. If you're not familiar with the game, here's a nice AMV of most of it I believe. Unfortunately the boy bits are pixelated but it's the best I could find. ;_;

Ok, so 'technically' Black Butler isn't yaoi but come on… we all know it was meant for us. 
I'm am so stoked that we're finally getting this in anime form so I don't need to watch it on my computer. ANN announced the details here and also stated that there will be a Black Butler 2 released July 2010 but with a new butler and master. If you're curious, here is the trailer for Black Butler 2:

AarinFantasy has confirmed they will be fansubbing both Betrayal Knows My Name and Sex Pistols:
We will be fansubbing Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru (also known as UraBoku) this coming April 2010.
